RDYSL players come join us for our new 2008 RDYSL/Rhinos Academy! Train and play along side of Rhinos Players. We are excited to be providing curriculum-based training guided by a qualified combination of RDYSL/Rhinos Professional coaching staff to strengthen player development. We are inviting players in the young (9-11) intermediate (12-14) and older (15-17) age groups that would like an additional training opportunity in a developmental environment each week at PAETEC Park from the last week in March through the middle of May. Training will occur on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays and will lead into the beginning of your RDYSL season. We will have Rhinos players training throughout the Academy providing additional insights and examples. Each player will receive an individual evaluation at the conclusion of the training. Space is limited to ensure personalized attention! Girls’ age groups will train on Saturdays/Sundays and boys/goal keepers will train on Mondays/Tuesdays.
Some of our trainers will include:
Jukka Masalin, Rhinos Men’s Assistant Coach, UEFA B License will oversea the boys’ training and will coach within the young to intermediate age groups as well as providing a specific keeper training time each week. Jukka trains both the Rhinos Men’s and Women’s goal keepers.
Peter Amos, Rhinos Women’s Head Coach, NSCAA Premier Diploma (USSF A) will oversea the girls’ training and will coach within the young to intermediate age groups.
Jon Poulakis, Director of Coaching Irondequoit Soccer Club, USSF B License will be working with the older age group girls.
